Wireless Tools FAQs

Q. Do I pay extra for Wireless Tools?

A. No. Wireless Tools is a free feature of the Pivot wireless service from Cox and Sprint.

Q. How often does Wireless Tools update the list of calls in the Current Usage section?

A. Your call history information is displayed as of midnight the previous evening.

Q. Does the Current Usage webpage match my phone bill statement?

A. Because the Current Usage page can be accessed at any time, it may not reflect all billable calls or match your phone bill statement. The Pivot billing cycle dates may be different from other Cox products on your account. The Invoice Period reflected on the Current Usage page represents the same billing cycle date information that appears on the Cox monthly statement.

Q. Where do I get a detailed phone bill statement?

A. You can create a login on our website at www.cox.com, enter your Cox account number, and then view your billing statement details there. Included are account balances, which are updated within 36 hours of submitting a payment.

Q. Where do I get detailed information about my calling plan?

A. The Plan Details page provides you with a  list of everything in your current plan.

Q. How do I verify the calling activity on my phone account?

A. Current Usage provides an online view of phone call activity for a selected duration. Each list includes the following details:

  • Minute usage
  • Minutes included
  • Minutes used
  • Minutes remaining
  • Additional minutes

Q. How do I listen to my voice mail or delete my messages?

A. The Voice Mail Center allows you to perform all tasks associated with voice mail, including deleting messages, listening to them, and setting up voice mail notification.

Q. Do I have the option to forward a voice mail to another recipient's voicemail box?

A. With Voice Mail Notification, an alert will be forwarded to the recipient's email and/or wireless phone each time a new voice mail is received.

Q. Do I have the option to save a voice mail and listen to it another time?

A. You may choose to save a message in your computer to listen to it at a later time.

Q. Do I have the ability to change my Voice Mail PIN?

A. The Wireless Tools voice Mail Center allows you to change your Voice Mail PIN.
