With the Cox remote control and DVR service, you’re only a few button clicks away from recording upcoming shows or series.
 To pre-schedule a recording
- Press the GUIDE button on your remote control.
- Find an upcoming show to record using one of the following methods:
a) If the show is playing later in the day, press the right arrow button to advance to the desired time slot.
b) If the show is is playing x days in the future, press the number of days to advance in the Program Guide, and then immediately press the right arrow button. For instance, press any number from 1 to 6 on the remote, and then press the right arrow button.
- Press the up or down arrow button to highlight a show.
- Press REC or SELECT.
- Select the Record this show or Record entire series option.
- Press SELECT and the show or series will be recorded automatically, even if the DVR set-top box is turned off.
