New HD & Digital Channels, plus October 30th Programming Changes

(SAN DIEGO) October 23, 2009 – On Friday, October 30th, 2009 the following channels will become available to customers during a special preview, prior to their official launch date on (or around) Monday November 30th, 2009. NBA HD, on channel 771, will be available to customers with the digital Sports & Information tier and HD service. Fox SPorts West HD on channel 729 will be available to customers with Standard Cable and HD service from Cox.

Channel LineupHow can I get a new channel lineup?
For the latest Cox channel lineup in your area, you may download a copy from our channel lineup section of cox.com.

Digital Cable customers can always use the Interactive Program Guide by pressing Guide from your remote control to find our most current channel lineup, search for program listings, read brief show summaries, or set program reminders so you don’t miss your favorite shows. You can even block programming that doesn’t fit your viewing taste with Parental Control.

You can also find our channel lineup in the San Diego Union-Tribune, and the North County Times.

Cox Digital Cable requires rental of a digital receiver & remote ($5.25/mo) and separate subscription to Cox Cable service (starting at $14.99/mo.).
