Cox Receives PC Magazine's "Readers' Choice Award" as Internet Service Provider 11-6-2007 Cox Communications has received its fourth PC Magazine Readers’ Choice Award for its Cox High Speed Internet service. The award is based on an online survey that asked readers to rate their Internet service provider in 10 categories, including speed, reliability, customer service and technical support. Participants, who included more than 800 Cox High Speed Internet customers nationwide, evaluated their Internet service provider on a 1-10 scale of poor to excellent. Highlights include:
“We’ve worked hard to make sure we’re giving our customers the speed and features they want, with free enhancements such as PowerBoost, integrated WebMail and the Cox Security Suite,” said Colette Jelineo, Vice President of Marketing for Cox San Diego. “We’ll continue to listen to our customers to ensure we’re offering them the products and services they want and need to help make their lives easier” Cox Communications provides data services to more than 3.5 million residential customers and 187,000 business customers nationwide. In addition to the PC Magazine honors, Cox’s residential and commercial services have also been recognized by J.D. Power and Associates. In 2006, Cox Business received the highest honor for the Business Data Study for Small/Midsize Businesses, and in 2005, Cox received the highest ranking for residential Internet Service Provider. ### |
