Cox High Speed Internet Increases Speeds
for Home and Small Office/Home Office

For the second time this year, Cox Communications has pumped up its residential Premier tier and Small Office/Home Office High Speed Internet speeds to 20Mbps down/1.5Mbps up. In July, speeds for residential and Small Office/Home Office high speed Internet users were bumped to15Mpbs down/1.5Mbps up. Cox Business’ Premier Small Office, Home Office High Speed Internet is a special business tier designed for home office users who need both fast download and upload speeds. It also offers an available static IP address and other business-class features. Cox Premier residential customers and Cox Business’ Small Office/Home Office customers also can receive even faster speeds - 25Mbps down/2Mbps up - with PowerBoost®, cutting-edge technology that gives customers an automatic burst of speed when they need it most PowerBoost® automatically engages when large files such as music, movies, videos and photos are being downloaded. PowerBoost® technology is a free service for residential Preferred and Premier Cox High Speed Internet customers and Small Office/Home Office Cox Business customers. Cox Communications received the highest ranking in the Western region among Internet service providers in the J.D. Power and Associates' 2008 Internet Service Provider Residential Customer Satisfaction StudySM. The study measured customer satisfaction among 12 providers in the West. Power and Associates 2008 Major Provider Business Telecommunications StudySM.
