1Connect the RF (coax) cable from the wall to the CABLE IN port on the cable box.

Select the video cable connection option and connect the video cable from the OUT port on your cable box to the IN port on your TV.
 

If you select HDMI or RF (coax) cable, proceed to step 4.

3Select the audio cable connection option and connect the audio cable from the cable box to the TV.

Plug in the power cords of the cable box and TV to the wall outlet.
 

Optional: Install other devices, such as a DVD player or audio amplifier according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Turn on the power to the TV and the cable box and select the proper channel or input on your TV from the list below:

  • RF (coax) cable: channel 3 or 4
  • S-Video or Composite (Standard TV): input or auxiliary 1, 2, 3...
  • Component (HDTV): component input 1, 2, 3...
  • HDMI (HDTV): the HDMI input 1, 2, 3...
6Install the batteries in the remote control.
7Program the remote.
