Changing the PIN via Phone Tools

Use the following information to change your PIN number using Phone Tools.

  1. Click or enter http://phonetools.cox.com into your browser.
  2. Sign in using your Primary User ID.
  3. Click to expand the Settings menu.
  4. Click Voice Mail.
  5. Ensure that Voice Mail is turned On
  6. Under Voice Mail locate Voice Mail PIN.
  7. Click Change PIN.
  8. Enter your new PIN number.
  9. Re-enter your new PIN number to confirm the change.
  10. Click Save.
     
    Result: Your new PIN number is available immediately.

 

Changing your PIN number using Cox Connect App

Use the following to change your Voice Mail PIN number using the Cox Connect app from your Smartphone or other mobile devices.

  1. Tap the Cox Connect icon on your device.
  2. Sign in using your Primary User ID and Password.
  3. Tap the Home Phone icon.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Change PIN.
  6. Enter your new PIN.
     
    Result: A pop-up window appears indicating the Voice Mail PIN has been modified.
