The Netgear CMD31T is a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem.

Initially it takes at least 15 minutes for your Netgear CMD31T cable modem to successfully register on the network. After the modem registers, the following LEDs should be lit.

  • POWER: solid green
  • ONLINE: solid green

If the Power LED is not solid green, check your power adaptor connections.

The Netgear CMD31T has the following ports available on the back of the modem.

  • POWER - Connects the cable modem to the power adapter
  • REBOOT - Restores factory settings
  • ETHERNET - Connects to the Ethernet port
  • CABLE - Connects to coaxial cable with broadband
