Learn the steps for managing folders in Enhanced WebMail.
Here are some tips to help you to create and manage folders in Enhanced WebMail.
Before beginning, make sure you are signed in to Enhanced WebMail.
- Go to webmail.cox.net.
- Enter User ID and Password.
- Click the Enhanced WebMail radio button.
- Click Sign In.

Result: A new folder displays in the list with the default name Untitled.
Note: A folder can also be renamed by right-clicking on it to select Rename Folder.
Select the folder you want to delete.
Note: The following default folders cannot be deleted.
- Sent Mail
Note: A folder can also be deleted by right-clicking it to select Delete Folder, or by dragging and dropping the folder in the Trash folder.
Result: The folder is deleted and sent to the Trash folder.
Note: A message can also be deleted by right-clicking it to select Delete Message, or by dragging and dropping the message in the Trash folder.
Result: The messages are deleted from the folder and sent to the Trash folder.
Select the Trash folder, then click Empty Trash.
Note: The Trash folder can also be emptied by right-clicking it to select Empty Trash.
In the confirmation message that displays, click yes.
Result: All messages in the Trash folder are permanently deleted.
Important: The Trash folder automatically empties overnight to free up storage space.
