Note: The following are default folders in Enhanced WebMail and cannot be deleted:

  • Inbox
  • Drafts
  • Sent Mail
  • Trash

 

 

Create a Folder

 

To create a folder for your saved email messages, follow the steps below.

 

  1. From the WebMail Inbox, click the folder with the plus sign next to Preferences.

  2. Right-click in the folder area and choose New Folder.
  3. Name the folder in place of Untitled.

Note: To add sub folder drag one folder into the other. 

 

 

Rename a Folder

 

To rename a folder, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Click the folder you want to rename.
  2. Click the title of the folder, enter the new name, then press Enter.



    Result: The new folder name displays.

    Note: Folders can also be renamed by right-clicking them then selecting Rename Folder.

 

 

Delete a Folder

 

To delete a folder, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Click the folder you want to delete then click the Delete selected folder from list icon.



    Result: A confirmation window displays.
  1. Click the yes button.


 

Result: The folder is deleted and sent to the Trash folder.


Note: Folders can also be deleted by right-clicking them then selecting Delete Folder, or by dragging and dropping the folder in the Trash folder.
 

 


 

Delete Messages in a Folder

 

To delete messages in a folder, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Select the folder with the messages to delete.


 

  1. Inside the folder put a check in the top checkbox to the left of the messages to delete them all. Or select a specific message or multiple messages.
  2. Click the Delete button.


 

Result: The messages are deleted from the folder and sent to the Trash folder.


Note: A message can also be deleted by right-clicking the message, then selecting Delete Message or by dragging and dropping the message in the Trash folder.
 

 
 

 

Empty the Trash Folder

 

To empty the trash folder of all messages, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Select the Trash folder, then click the Empty Trash button.


 

Result: A confirmation window displays.
 

  1. Click the yes button.


 

Result: All messages in the Trash folder are permanently deleted.


Important: The Trash folder is automatically emptied overnight to free up storage space. The Trash folder can also be emptied by right-clicking the Trash folder, then selecting Empty Trash.
