Deactivate Cox Security Suite Plus

Follow the steps in this article to access McAfee and deactivate Security Suite Plus from your PC or Mac.
As a Cox High Speed Internet Customer, you have license to download Cox Security Suite Plus on up to 5 computers, and McAfee family protection on up to 3 computers. You must login as the Primary Account Holder User ID in order to use Cox Security Software. For more information on what this means, see Understanding Digital Identities and Account Types.
From your browser, enter http://www.cox.com/css to access Internet Tools.
Enter your User ID and Password, then click Sign In.
Note: If you do not remember your password, click the Forgot Password? link.
Click Manage to access Security Suite Plus options.
If you see the "Activate" button instead of "Manage", you have not yet activated and installed Security Suite Plus on your computer. Please see Activate Cox Security Suite Plus for instructions.
Click the Deactivate Cox Security Suite Plus link.
Click the Deactivate button.
After deactivating Cox Security Suite, a confirmation message displays with instructions on how to uninstall the software.
Deactivating is not the same as uninstalling. You must also uninstall the software once deactivation is complete.
