The following contains a list of Cox-supported email clients, browsers, and operating systems.
Note: As new software becomes available, Cox conducts an evaluation to determine if and when the new software will be supported.
What does supported mean?
Cox does not provide step-by-step instructions for all features of any browser, operating system, or email client. Rather, our goal is to provide our customers with the steps they need to set up these tools in order to use Cox products and services. Because we are not the manufacturers of these tools we refer customers to the providers for further instruction.
For the best possible experience using these products and obtaining support from Cox and the software manufacturers, it is recommended that you use the latest available version.
Operating Systems (OS)
Note: Internet browsers found on video game consoles are not supported, although customers can use gaming consoles with Cox High Speed Internet service. Cox only provides support for the Internet connection up to the cable modem. We refer customers to console manufacturers for further instruction.
Cox also supports email clients that ship with most mobile devices, such as Android and Apple devices.
