Changing Your Password on Cox.com

Learn how to change your current password online to a new password.


This is the password you use with your User ID to log in to your personalized Cox webpages, such as View/Pay Bill, WebMail, Phone Tools, Internet Tools, and Account Settings.

To change your password, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to www.cox.com.
  2. Click the My Account tab along the top.
  3. Sign in with your User ID and Password. If you can't remember your password, click the Forgot User ID / Password? link next to the Sign In button.
  4. Click Manage Profile.
  5. Click the Edit button to the right of Password.

    Note: If you are in the process of transferring your services, you will receive an error message and will be unable to change your password until the transfer is complete.
  6. Enter your current Password.
  7. Enter a new Password. Re-enter it.
  8. Click Continue.
