Sign In to the Portal

Sign in to the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal by entering your username and password.

Note: If you forget your username or password, click the appropriate link on the Sign In page to begin the process of retrieving your username or resetting your password. Follow the instructions on the web pages or email messages associated with this process to restore your access to the web portal.

Trouble Tile

A trouble tile on the My Home page alerts you of a system problem, such as a battery needing replacement. Click the tile to view the trouble message, providing you with the date and time the trouble occurred.

 

Change Your Subscriber Portal Username

  1. On the My Home page, select the More menu and click the Account tile.

  2. Click the Change Username button.

  3. Enter a new username in the New Username field and then enter it again in the Confirm Username field.
  4. Click SAVE.

    Result: Your username is now changed. The next time you sign in to the Subscriber Portal, use the new username.

Change Your Subscriber Portal Password

  1. On the My Home page, select the More menu and click the Account tile.
  2. Click the Change Password button.

  3. Change the password by entering the current password in the Old password field.
  4. Enter a new password in the New password field and enter it again in the Confirm password field.
  5. Click SAVE.

    Result: Your Subscriber portal password is now changed. The next time you sign into the Subscriber Portal, use your new password.

Change Your Secret Word

  1. On the My Home page, select the More menu and click the Account tile.
  2. On the Account window, scroll down to the Secret Word section and click the View/Edit button.

  3. On the Account Verification window, enter the Master Code.

  4. The current Secret Password displays, enter a new Secret Password and click SAVE ALL to accept the changes.

Change the Duress Code

  1. From the My Home page, select the More menu and click the Keypad Codes tile.

  2. On the Keypad Codes window, click the Pencil icon.

  3. In the Account Verification window, enter the Master Code.

  4. In the Edit Keypad Code window, complete the following steps:
    1. Enter a new 4-Digit Code.
    2. Click SAVE.

    Result: Your new duress code is active.
