Managing Your Cox Homelife Account with the Subscriber Portal

Learn how to change your username, password, and other codes through the online Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal.


You can manage your Cox Homelife System account information using the online Subscriber Portal.


Sign In to the Portal

Log in to the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal.

Enter your username and password.


If you forget your username or password, click the appropriate link on the Sign In page to begin the process of retrieving your username or resetting your password. Follow the instructions on the web pages or email messages associated with this process to restore your access to the web portal.

Change Your Subscriber Portal Username

  1. Click My Account from any page in the Subscriber Portal.

  2. Click the Username tab.

  3. Enter a new username in the New Username field and then enter it again in the Confirm New Username field.
  4. Click Change Username.

    Result: Your username is now changed. The next time you log in to the Subscriber Portal, use the new username.

Change Your Subscriber Portal Password

  1. Click My Account from any page in the Subscriber Portal.

    Result: The My Account window displays.

  2. Click the Password tab.

  3. Change the password by entering the current password in the Old Password field.
  4. Enter a new password in the New Password field and enter it again in the Verify field.
  5. Click Change Password.

    Result: Your Subscriber portal password is now changed. The next time you log into the Subscriber Portal, use your new password.

Change Your Secret Word

  1. To change the secret word, select Security > Emergency Dispatch Setup on the toolbar.
  2. Click Unlock to View/Edit.

    Result: The Account Verification window displays.

  3. Enter your Keypad Master Code.

    Result: Your Secret Word displays.

  4. Enter a new Secret Word and click SAVE to accept the changes, or CANCEL to exit.

Change the Duress Code

  1. From the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal main page select Security > Key Pad Codes.

    Result: The Key Pad Access Codes window displays.
  2. Click the Pencil icon.

    : The Account Verification dialog displays. Enter the Master Keypad Code.

  3. Click OK.

    : The Edit Access Code window displays.

  4. Enter a Name or leave it the same.
  5. Enter a new Access Code.
  6. Click SAVE.

Change Email Address

If you need to change your primary email address, contact Homelife Customer Support.
