Solution

You can manage your Cox Homelife Thermostat by using the online Subscriber Portal.
 

Sign In to the Portal

  1. Sign in to the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal, entering your username and password.
  2. Click the Thermostat tile.

Using Thermostat Schedule

  1. From the Thermostat window, click the square adjustment icon on the Schedule tile.  Click VIEW to see your current schedule or to create a new one.


  2. Click on the blue or orange dot for each day you want to set or change any of the set temperatures.



    Note: Blue dots indicate cool settings and orange dots indicate heat settings.
  3. To add a new set-point, click the window in a blank space, then drag any temperature set points up or down to select the temperature, and left or right to select the time of day to begin that setting.


  4. When changes are completed, click the check mark to keep your new setting, or the X to delete it.

  5. To adjust an existing set-point, click and drag the set-point dot to adjust the temperature up or down to the desired setting, and left or right to select the time of day to begin that setting.
  6. To duplicate settings, follow the steps below:
    1. Select a day and click on the schedule you want to duplicate, click Copy.
    2. Click the day where you want to paste, click Paste.

    3. Continue copying and pasting the schedule for each day you want to set.
  7. Click the Save button to save and exit out of the schedule.

Editing Thermostat Rules

  1. To edit a rule, select the Rules menu on the My Home page.

  2. Click the Thermostats tile to display the Thermostats Rules.

  3. To modify a rule, follow the steps below:
    1. Click on the rule tile you want to edit.
    2. The rules display, click on the square adjustment icon next to the desired setting.

    3. The displayed windows walk you through each step to edit the rule.
  4. To disable or remove an existing rule, complete the following steps:
    1. Select the desired rule.
    2. To temporarily disable the rule, toggle the rule from ON to OFF.
    3. Click REMOVE to delete it completely.

  5. Disable - Delete Rule
  6. Once edits are completed, click the Save button.
