Logging into Cox Homelife Mobile App

Learn the process to login to the Cox Homelife mobile app using either an iPhone or Android device.


Follow these steps to login to the Cox Homelife mobile app on iPhone and Android devices.

User Name and Password

If you have trouble logging in with user name and password, check your settings.

Cox Homelife must be selected on the Settings screen. If Cox Homelife is not selected, an error message displays.


Open the Cox Homelife mobile app.
Result: The Login screen displays.

From the Login screen, tap Settings.

From the Settings screen, tap Cox Homelife.

Note: Make certain the green checkmark displays next to the Cox Homelife server name and if it doesn’t, then tap Cox Homelife to move it from the Demo server to Cox Homelife server.

To return to the Login screen, tap Home.
Tap Home to return to login screen
You may now enter your user name and password.

Your login for the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal and mobile app are the same. If you forget your username or password, click the appropriate link on the Subscriber Portal Sign In page to begin the process of retrieving your username or resetting your password. Follow the instructions on the web pages or email messages associated with this process to restore your access to the web portal and mobile app.

Setting and Using the PIN

With the Cox Homelife mobile app, you have the option of logging in with a four-digit PIN. The PIN will allow you to bypass the user name and password while still providing a level of security.
To set up the PIN, follow the steps below.


On the Settings screen next to PIN login, tap Enable.

Result: The Set a PIN screen displays.

  1. Use the number keys to enter a four-digit PIN number.

    Result: The Confirm your PIN screen displays.
  2. Reenter the PIN number.
    Confirm the PIN
    Result: The Enter your PIN screen displays.
    Enter PIN to login
    Note: This is the screen you see when you open the Cox Homelife mobile app.
Note: You have the option of entering your PIN or user name and password. 
To enter your PIN, use the number keys.
Enter your PIN or select Use password login

To use your user name and password, tap Use password login.
Tap to select user name and password login
