Solution

Manage your Apps and their layout on the Touchscreen from the Subscriber Portal and the Touchscreen.
 
In the Subscriber Portal from the Manage Apps page, you can complete the following tasks:

Security, Settings, Cameras, Door Locks, Lights, and Thermostat are default apps on the Touchscreen. They cannot be moved, configured, or removed.
 

On the Touchscreen from the Apps screen, you can complete the following tasks:

View Touchscreen Apps

To view Touchscreen Apps using the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal, follow the steps below.

From the My Home page, select the More menu on the toolbar, and click Apps.

The apps at the top of the page may be added to the touchscreen. The apps displayed in the touchscreen image below are those apps currently available on the touchscreen. The apps are positioned in the image just as they are on the actual touchscreen.

Use the scroll bar to scroll through the available apps.

Add Touchscreen Apps

To add new Touchscreen Apps to your Home screen using the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal, follow the steps below.

Hover your cursor over the app along the app menu bar and click +Install.

The App Install window displays, providing detail of the app. Click Install.

The Subscriber Portal pushes the app to the touchscreen. An updating message displays on the touchscreen while the app is being added.
 

Remove Touchscreen Apps

To remove Touchscreen Apps using the Cox Homelife Subscriber Portal, follow the steps below.

From the Touchscreen Apps page, hover your cursor over the app to be removed.

Click Delete.

The Delete App window displays. Click Delete to remove the app from the touchscreen.

Reposition Touchscreen Apps

To reposition movable apps to a desired spot on the Touchscreen control panel’s home screen, follow the steps below.
 

Some of the Homelife apps, which are necessary to control basic features of your system, are fixed and cannot be moved.

Click Reposition to re-arrange the apps.

Drag and drop the apps to the preferred location on the touchscreen.

When all the apps are repositioned to your satisfaction, click Save.

Result: The apps have been updated and the new app locations have been pushed to the touchscreen.
 

Add Touchscreen Apps

To add Touchscreen Apps using the Cox Homelife Touchscreen, follow the steps below.

  • Tap Settings.
  • Enter your Passcode.
  • From the Cox Homelife Touchscreen Settings menu, tap Apps.
  • Choose Add App.

Remove Touchscreen Apps

To remove Touchscreen Apps using the Cox Homelife Touchscreen, follow the steps below.

  • Tap Settings.
  • Enter your Passcode.
  • From the Cox Homelife Touchscreen Settings menu, tap Apps.
  • Choose Remove App.

Reposition Touchscreen Apps

To reposition Touchscreen Apps using the Cox Homelife Touchscreen, follow the steps below.
 

All apps, except Security, Settings, and Cameras, can be moved to the preferred location on the touchscreen.

  • Tap Settings.
  • Enter your Passcode.
  • From the Cox Homelife Touchscreen Settings menu, tap Apps.
  • Choose Reorder Apps.

The steps below include the instructions for the Classic View of the Subscriber Portal.

Hover your cursor over the app you want to add and click Install.

Result: A dialog box displays.

Click Install.

From the Manage Apps screen, hover your cursor over the app to be removed.
