Where to Shop

There are two shopping areas on www.cox.com.

  1. Ordering TV, Internet, and Phone service:
      
    1. Go to www.cox.com.
    2. Browse the TV, Internet, Phone, or Bundles offerings.
    3. Enter your street address and Zip code to get accurate pricing.
    4. Complete the online order form.
       
      • May require a deposit payment.
      • Includes a Confirmation Order Summary page you can print for your records.
  2. Ordering TV season sports packages, pay-per-view movies, and boxing events:
     
    1. Go to www.cox.com.
    2. Click My Connection.
    3. Sign in with your User ID and Password.
    4. Click My Services.
    5. Click either:
        
      • Get Pay-Per-View Events.
      • Get Sports Packages.
    6. Provide method of payment, such as credit card.

What ID to Bring

When ordering TV, Internet or Phone service, you’ll need to know the following.

  • Existing Cox Customers should bring:
     
    1. Cox PIN for Phone orders (per FCC regulations). The last four digits of the account holder’s Social Security number are permitted for TV and Internet orders.
    2. User ID and Password to set up certain features.
    3. Credit card number.
    4. Installation preference, either:
       
      • A Cox technician installs services for you; you’ll select date and time of installation.
      • You install the services yourself; you’ll elect to pick up the installation kit, or have it shipped to you.
    5. Disconnect date; if you are moving (disconnecting) from one Cox service area and moving (connecting) service to another Cox service area.
  • New Cox customers should bring:
     
    1. Social Security number
    2. Credit card number
    3. Address
    4. Credit Check or Deposit Approval
    5. 4 numerals to use for your new Cox PIN number
    6. Installation preference, either:
       
      • A Cox technician installs services for you; you’ll select date and time of installation.
      • You install the services yourself; you’ll elect to pick up the installation kit, or have it shipped to you.

How the Order Is Processed

We will send you several emails reporting the status of your order. They are:

  1. Confirmation - Moments after you click to Submit the order, Cox sends you a Confirmation email indicating your order has been received.
  2. Order Processed - Once Cox verifies all of the paperwork and schedules delivery or installation, you will receive an email that the Order itself has been processed.
  3. Order Complete - Once your services have been activated, you will receive an Order Complete email.

    Note: It is important that you provide an accurate email address to receive the emails about the status of your order.
