DIGITAL CABLE

2009 Digital TV Transition

With Cox You're Covered

On February 17, 2009, local television stations must stop broadcasting their analog tv signals over the air. Oklahoma stations effected include, but not limited to, KFOR, KOCO, KWTV and KOKH in the Oklahoma City area and KTUL, KJRH, KOTV and KOKI in the Tulsa area. These stations and other local full-power stations must only broadcast in a digital format after February 17, 2009.

Most televisions made before 2004 will not be able to tune to the local digital signal. Any television connected to Cox service will NOT be effected. Digital Cable is not a requirement.
