| Cox Connects for Education |
Cox Connects Education Scholarships — These student scholarships are designed to provide support to graduating high school seniors, current undergraduate students and adult parents re-entering the classroom in their educational endeavors.
Cox Connects Education Scholarships are specific to students living in Cox Oklahoma serviceable areas. Students must attend a two-year college, four-year university or career tech program in Oklahoma. Special consideration will be given to students who have excelled despite their obstacles and adversities. One-year scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded to students who qualify.
Scholarship applications will be accepted March 1-May 1, 2010.
Innovation in Education — The Cox Connects Foundation’s Innovation in Education program provides grants to public and private schools (grades K-12) and the dedicated teachers at those schools. The purpose of this program is to fund classroom or school-wide programs and curriculum which promote students’ ingenuity and imaginations through the innovative use of technology. The Cox Connects Foundation will award grants up to $2,500 each to schools in the Cox Communications service areas.
Grant applications for the Tulsa and Oklahoma City-metro areas will be accepted January 1-March 1, 2010.

Community Investment Grants — Oklahoma City / Tulsa — The Cox Connects Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) organizations that further Cox Oklahoma’s goal to build strong communities by enriching the lives of Oklahomans in the areas of education, technology, social issues and the arts.
Grant applications (Oklahoma City / Tulsa) for funding in 2009 are now available. They will be accepted July 1-August 14, 2009. Funds will be awarded to grant recipients in December 2009.

Cox Cares Employee Relief Program — The Cox Cares Program helps Cox Oklahoma employees with short-term financial assistance during unexpected and unavoidable financial hardships and emergencies. Cox Cares will assist employees in filling the financial gaps that exist after unanticipated emergencies, such as natural disasters, medical emergencies, funeral expenses or military deployment.
