Cox Service Assurance Plan:
The Service Assurance Plan is a service and maintenance plan available to Cox residential customers for a small monthly fee of $3.95. The plan covers wiring and service issues for cable, high speed Internet and telephone service, regardless of whether or not Cox is the telephone service provider. Also included is customer education and diagnosis.

You'll enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing your wiring is protected and at a low monthly fee! The Service Assurance Plan is only $3.95 a month.
  • Maintenance of all coaxial cable used for transmission of Cox services and two-pair copper telephone wiring running from the point of entry outside of the home (ground block) to the back of the customer's device.
  • Telephone wiring is also covered in cases where the customer subscribes to a competitor's telephone service (Does not include DSL or Voice over DSL wiring).
  • Customers who choose to subscribe to the Service Assurance Plan
    are exempt from labor fees that will be assessed if an in-home service appointment is required

Wiring coverage applies to Cox -- and customer -- owned wiring in single family and other select housing. Subscription to the Cox Service Assurance Plan required which is billed monthly and in advance. Your Plan subscription will be canceled without notice if no Cox service is being provided to the residence, or if any misuse or abuse of the Plan services occurs, or if a hazard or danger to the person or property exists which could prevent Cox technicians from performing their work in a safe manner. Your Plan subscription may also be suspended or discontinued upon notice for nonpayment. No equipment warranties are provided under this Plan. Cox self-install service calls not covered. Separate subscription may be required for each tenant or occupant of apartments, condos, or other multi-dwelling units. Other restrictions apply.
