Education is the cornerstone of Cox Communications’ commitment to the Orange
County community.
As you can see below, Cox supports education in a variety of
ways.
Cable in the Classroom
For over 15 years, Cox has provided private and public schools with
complimentary cable television services via our Cable in the Classroom program,
and high-speed Internet access via our Line to Learning program. More than 160
Orange County schools participate in the
Cable in the Classroom and Line to Learning programs.
Cox Scholarships
Cox is proud to offer College Scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
The 2007 scholarship program will include a Video Contest.
Scholarship applications are now available. Application deadline: April 6,

SCCTA Scholarships
Cox Communications and
the Southern California Cable and Telecommunications Association (SCCTA) award
up to $25,000 in scholarships to Southern California high school seniors who
wish to pursue a career in telecommunications each spring. Scholarships can
range from $500 to $2,000. Download the application at

March 16, 2007.
Cox Employees and Junior Achievement
Cox Communications and Junior Achievement, the world’s largest organization
dedicated to educating young people, brought Cox Communications employees to
teach fundamentals of business in 30 classrooms at Trabuco Mesa Elementary
School in Rancho Santa Margarita in 2004 and 2005.

Internship Program
The Cox Communications
