Cares, provides funding to local non-profit organizations to support
education, youth, seniors and others in need.

Where does the Cox Cares money come from? |

Most of it is donated by our 950 local
employees, the same people who install your Cox Services and greet you
when you come into a Cox Store. |
Recent Cox Cares grant recipients and how the funds will help:
- Bell Tower Foundation - RSM Teen
Council
Provides a platform for local teens to organize their community
volunteer efforts.
- Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley
- SeaTech: Underserved Youth Hooked on Technology
Brings underserved teens an intense ocean study program.
- Court Appointed Special Advocates of Orange
County - Mentor-Advocate Program
Provides training and supervision of new mentor volunteers for over 150
children.
- DisAbility Awareness Foundation, Inc.
- Tools for Success
Provides opportunities for persons with disabilities to use stories and
skits to teach children K-12 about motivation,
respect and valuing their own lives.
- Down Syndrome Association of Orange County
- Riding With the Wind OC Bike Camp
Provides a five-day Bike Camp for children, teens and young adults with
Down syndrome using specially adapted bicycles and research-based training.
- Girls Incorporated of Orange County
- Fit Girls and Families
Addresses the epidemic of obesity among children and teens by offering
girls and their families interesting ways to learn about physical fitness, nutrition and body image.
- Laguna College of Art and Design -
Arts Education Community Outreach “Color It Orange”
Provides funding for a coordinator to manage this juried art exhibition
serving all of OC’s K-12 schools with more than 6,000 entries and 10 highly regarded scholarship awards.

Support
Provides direct food pantry, utility and rental assistance services to
600 families in South Orange County.
