Cox Cares

With digital cable, high-speed data and telephone service for homes and businesses, Cox Communications is truly a link in the Orange County community. As part of our continued commitment to the communities we serve, we established Cox Cares for Orange County. This non-profit foundation assists local charitable organizations, supporting the groups who work to make a difference in the lives of others.

Grant Application Review Process

Grant applications are reviewed annually by a Fund Distribution Committee comprised of community and business leaders. Funding decisions are based on the quality of the applicant’s program or project, and service to South Orange County in the areas of youth, education and seniors. Additional considerations include the scope of each program or project, the overall impact on the community, the number of people served and the validity and urgency of needs addressed. Preference is given to programs that provide a unique service not being duplicated in the community. Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000.
