Grant Application Review ProcessGrant applications are reviewed annually by a Fund Distribution Committee
comprised of community and business leaders. Funding decisions are based on the
quality of the applicant’s program or project, and service to South Orange
County in the areas of youth, education and seniors. Additional considerations
include the scope of each program or project, the overall impact on the
community, the number of people served and the validity and urgency of needs
addressed. Preference is given to programs that provide a unique service not
being duplicated in the community. Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000. To apply

Limitations
We generally do not provide grant support to:

Individuals

Political campaigns

Labor or fraternal organizations

Individual K-12 schools or association chapters

Endowment funds or foundations
-
Religious organizations

Organizations which discriminate
