Louisa and Piety Streets from Florida Avenue to Higgins Blvd, including Humanity Street and Alja Meyers Place between Piety and Higgins Blvd., including Louisa and Metropolitan between Almonaster and Higgins Blvd.
The area bordered by Almonaster Blvd on the West and North, Metropolitan Street on the East and Florida Avenue on the South.
The area bordered by Almonaster and I-10 on the south, People’s Avenue on the West, Chef Mentur Highway on the North and France Road on the East.

In the St. Bernard Parish areas and New Orleans East areas we continue network restoration efforts. The extent of the devastation specifically to our underground network in this area, impacts the pace at which service can be restored. Be assured we are working as quickly as possible and expect to have specific service restoration information soon.

Week of April 17, 2006
There is ongoing network restoration work in all of Metropolitan New Orleans including New Orleans East and St. Bernard. Restoration of commercial power, replacement of damaged poles and replacement of underground cable continues in all areas. We ask that you do not place discarded debris next to green utility pedestals to avoid damage to them during debris pickup.

The latest areas of restoration include:

St. Claude to North Robertson, Clouet St to Alvar St.
Triangle formed by Peoples Avenue, Florida Avenue and Interstate 10
Area around Bienville and South Jefferson Davis Parkway bordered by Canal Street to Conti Street, North Clark to North Broad
Banks Street to Conti Street, South Carrolton to North And South Genois Street
South Jefferson Parkway to South Cortez, Pontchartrain Expressway to Banks Street
Earhart to Airline Drive, Parish line to the intersection of Forshey and General Ogden
Orleans Avenue Housing Development, Orleans Avenue to Lafitte Street, North Rocheblave to North Claiborne
Martin Luther King Boulevard to 4th Street, South Roman Street to South Rocheblave,
Martin Luther King to Earhart, South Broad to South Claiborne

In St. Bernard the latest areas of restoration include:
Chalmette Battlefield to Judge Perez, Pirate Dr. to Chalmette Avenue
Jumonville Subdivision including Etienne Drive to Webster, between St. Bernard Highway and Judge Perez
Colonial Boulevard subdivision between St. Bernard Hwy and Judge Perez, James Court to “C” Street in the Louis Elam subdivision

The area north of the Fairgrounds bordered by Belfort Avenue / Industry Street on the south, Navy to the west, Trafalgar Street to the north, and St. Bernard Street to the East

In St. Bernard parish, the Bayou Road area bordered by Judge Perez and Sugar Mill Road to the west, all of the communities north and south of Bayou Road and Highway 46, continuing east of Creedmore Dr, ending at Cottonwood Dr
