If you reach a busy-signal, just hang up the call, pick up the receiver again and dial *66. If the line is still busy you can hang-up and let busy-line redial call the number for you for the next half-hour. If the number is no longer busy, you'll hear a special ring. Cable Telephone modem equipment required. Modem with battery backup will be provided and installed by Cox. Modem and battery backup shall remain the property of Cox and must be returned upon discontinuation of service. If modem is disconnected or removed, or battery is not charged or otherwise fails, telephone service, including access to emergency 911 services, will not be available. Modem limited to 2 telephone lines per household. All long distance plans require subscription to Cox for local, toll and long distance service and customers must select Cox as their long distance service provider. All Connection plan minutes of Cox long distance are limited to direct-dialed long distance calls within the United States and to Puerto Rico, Guam, CNMI, American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unused monthly long distance minutes included in any plan have no cash value, expire at the end of each month, and additional minutes are billed at th Service valid for residential subscribers within the Las Vegas metropolitan area serviced by Cox.
