In support of Cable in the Classroom, a public service of the cable industry, Cox Communications provides complimentary cable connections to nearly 500 K-12 schools in Clark County. Through Cox's commitment, Cable in the Classroom offers 550 hours of educational programs per month, provided by more than 30 cable networks such as the Discovery Channel, A&E, The History Channel and the Weather Channel. The programming provided each month is commercial-free and is geared to give teachers lively curriculum-rich resources to inspire learning.
In addition to the complimentary service, every school receives a courtesy subscription to "Cable in the Classroom" magazine. The magazine provides monthly information about copyright clearances, programming schedules, supporting materials, and how and when programs fit into the Cable in the Classroom curriculum. Cox Communications also offers a training presentation or on-site training upon request. For more information on how your school can receive these services please contact us at (702) 384 8084 x8482 or visit
