Cox Line to Learning
Cox's Line to Learning program is the latest step in Cox's ongoing commitment to enhancing educational tools. Cox is participating in a nationwide initiative with the National Cable Television Association (NCTA) in which large cable companies are providing high-speed Internet access to each accredited public and private school (K-12) via cable technology, free of charge, as these digital services are introduced into our communities.
Line to Learning utilizes our high-capacity networks to provide useful content and curriculum via high-speed Internet access. As an extension of our Cox@Home service, Line to Learning capitalizes on our superior digital fiber-optic network, allowing much more data to be transferred per second than a telephone line. We're talking really fast.
Through a Cox cable modem, schools are continuously connected to the "always on" service, enjoying real-time delivery of news and information from their local communities and around the world.
For more information on how your school can receive these services please contact us at (702) 384 8084 x8482. |
