Cox Launches New On Demand Content Just in Time for the Holidays

Disney Family Movie Package, Karaoke On Demand and Special Holiday Features Now Available

Chesapeake, VA — Cox Communications recently announced the availability of exciting new content to its On DEMAND library, just in time for the holidays. Digital customers now have access to a new subscription video package from Disney, as well as a FREE offering, The Karaoke Channel On Demand and a broad lineup of holiday programs and movies, all located in the On Demand library on channel 1/499.

"Cox's On Demand library is not only a great place to find family-friendly programs like Disney movies, but a great way to get our customers in the holiday mood with Karaoke On Demand and tons of free holiday programming," added Berg.

The subscription package of movies and short films from Disney Family Movies includes a mix of Disney Classics, other theater releases, straight to DVD titles and movie shorts. Each month, subscribers will have access to more than 15 movies with new titles each week. The package is available for $6.99 per month.

The Karaoke Channel On Demand has the largest catalog of Karaoke, with over 16,000 songs, and contains the most up-to-date songs available today. Cox Digital Cable customers can select from a package of over 300 regularly refreshed titles at any one time to play out in the comfort of their home. The Karaoke Channel is free to digital subscribers.

Cox is also offering a special category of holiday programming for the month of December including The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, special holiday concerts and movies, plus some best of the year content from Comedy Central and Music Choice. Customers can even tune to a roaring fire with a background of holiday music with Yule Log On Demand.
