Gary McCollum, Cox Hampton Roads SVP, Named One of Cable's Most Influential for 2008

CableFAX Magazine Recognizes Cox Hampton Roads' Gary McCollum for Being an Inspirational Leader

Chesapeake, VACableFAX Magazine has named Cox Hampton Roads' Senior Vice President and General Manager Gary McCollum as one of its 2008 Most Influential Minorities in Cable: Regional Executives.

Mr. McCollum, along with other regional executives throughout the country, was recognized for being an inspirational leader.

Mr. McCollum started at Cox Communications in Hartford, Connecticut in 1989, and was later promoted to a variety of management roles. He joined Cox Hampton Roads in June 2006 as vice president and region manager and was elevated in 2008 to his current title, recognizing his influential role in the Hampton Roads market and his leadership in the community. With his strong business acumen and competitive focus, McCollum has also been recognized by several organizations receiving awards such as the prestigious Vanguard Award for Cable Operations Management from the National Cable Telecommunications Association.
