Cox Communications Offers a Free Sneak Preview of Full-Length Episodes of “Crash,” New Starz Original Series, On DEMAND Beginning October 1st
Hampton Roads, VA – Cox Communications has announced that all digital cable customers will have access to a free On DEMAND preview of one of the most anticipated new fall series from Starz, “Crash,” beginning October 1st.
From the producers of the Academy Award®-winning Best Motion Picture of 2006, the first two episodes of the “Crash” original series will be made available for free and unlimited instant viewing in FreeZone section of On DEMAND. This “Crash” early sneak preview precedes the October 17th Starz primetime premiere at 10PM ET/PT.
“Our On DEMAND platform allows our digital cable customers anytime access to exciting new programming, like this free premiere of Crash, before they can see it anywhere else,” said VP/GM. “In addition to the thousands of free options available in our On DEMAND library, we’re happy to partner with Starz to offer a preview of this new series to our digital customers at no charge.”
Co-produced with Lionsgate, “Crash” is a provocative new 13-episode drama starring an ensemble cast led by film icon Dennis Hopper. Set in Los Angeles, the series explores the complexities of social and racial tolerance through characters whose lives intersect and collide.
High-definition and standard-definition versions of the premiere episodes of “Crash” will be available for sneak preview On DEMAND. Cox and Starz Entertainment are also partnering to promote “Crash” at Best Buy stores, offering a $100 Best Buy® Gift Card for those consumers who sign up for Cox Digital Cable and Starz from October 5 to November 1.
Various “Crash” trailers and behind-the-scenes promotional material for the eagerly-anticipated series will also be made available on Cox.net.
