Cox 11 Puts Greater Focus on High School Sports

Game of the Week Football Schedule Premiers September

Hampton Roads, VA – Cox Communications is pleased to present a regional slate of local high school sports on its channel, Cox 11 beginning this month. Each week, the Cox High School Game of the Week will deliver a complete high school competition to the more than 400,000 households that subscribe to Cox. The featured games can be seen tape-delayed on Saturdays at 4 pm and again on Mondays at 4:30 pm.

In addition, the Cox 11 Sports Report will present detailed highlights of games from across the region. The Cox 11 Sports Report can be seen Mondays at 7 pm, with encore episodes presented during the week and select highlights and interviews available via Cox On Demand.

This new season of The Sports Report and the Cox 11 Game of the Week welcomes new young talent as the voices of Cox 11 sports. The Cox 11 Sports Team includes Chris Park, a graduate of Washington State University, who will serve as Report Anchor and play-by-play announcer for games; the team also includes Mathew White a recent Hampton University graduate who will assume duties as Report Anchor and who will also provide color-commentary for games.
