Cox offers Digital Customers a Sneak Peek at NBC’s New Fall Lineup Via the On DEMAND Library

Hampton Roads, VA – Cox Communications is offering its digital customers early access to some of this fall’s hottest new shows via the On DEMAND library. Beginning in September, customers can access new NBC shows and returning favorites including Knight Rider, Kath & Kim, Lipstick Jungle, and Chuck and Life. Customers also can access Webisodes + trailers of Heroes and The Office in both standard and high-definition.

“Our On DEMAND platform allows us to offer customers access to programming, including exciting previews of new shows and the season premiers of some favorites, before they air on regular television,” said Gary McCollum, Senior Vice President and General Manager. “Not only can our customers access more than 6000 titles – both in standard and high-definition – with On DEMAND, but they can be the first to screen this fall’s hottest new shows and returning favorites.”

One week prior to their premiers on NBC, Cox customers can access episodes of Knight Rider, Kath & Kim, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck and Life by tuning to channel 1, selecting the FreeZone category and then NBC Fall Preview. Customers can access the shows in high-definition by selecting NBC Fall Preview HD. Episodes are available for one week each prior to their linear premier.

Kath & Kim, Life and Heroes episodes will be available on demand 48 hours after they air on their regularly scheduled date and time at no additional cost to digital cable customers and are available for up to 28 days. Additional shows are expected to become available with the launch of the fall season. On DEMAND from Cox allows digital cable customers to watch TV on their schedule – more than 6000 selections of movies, shows and videos- even high-definition content - at anytime they want. Best of all, On DEMAND is easy to use and offers tons of free programming to all digital cable customers.
