Cox Selects Scott Sale as New Vice President of Business Operations

Hampton Roads, VA – Mr. Scott Sale has been selected to serve as Cox Hampton Roads’ new Vice President of Business Operations. Mr. Sale began April 21, 2008.

As Vice President of Business Operations, Mr. Sale provides financial leadership and strategic planning for the Cox Hampton Roads system. In meeting the needs of Cox’s internal and external customers, Mr. Sale will provide leadership and support in the areas of finance, accounting, supply chain, collections, fleet and facilities.

“Scott’s expertise, strategic leadership and commitment will help Cox continue to build the company’s competitive success. He brings eleven years of Cox-specific financial and leadership experience and expertise,” says Cox Senior Vice President and General Manager Gary McCollum.

In 1997, Mr. Sale began his Cox career as a business analyst with Cox’s New Orleans system. He then moved to Cox Communications’ corporate finance team in Atlanta, where he served as senior general ledger accountant and later as senior financial analyst. In 2002, he served as business manager for the Cox Gulf Coast system. And in 2006, he served as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with Cox Kansas-Arkansas.

Mr. Sale earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Nichols State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
