Cox and Hampton University Host CNN's "Black in America Tour" on Wednesday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Black in America Tour Stops at Select Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)

Hampton Roads, VA – Turner Network Sales (TNS), the distribution, sales and marketing arm of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.), CNN and Cox Communications host the Black in America tour stop at Hampton University on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. CNN continues its commitment to groundbreaking documentaries and reporting for Black in America, which examines in-depth the often under-reported stories of the African-American experience.

The HBCU tour will include a trailer outfitted with a jumbo television screen, along with video kiosks, where participants can submit their video response to a programming-related question via iReport. There will be live DJs, a graffiti wall and electronic polling stations using questions from a CNN/Essence Magazine/Opinion Research Corporation poll. Exclusive video previews from upcoming Black in America programming will also be featured. CNN, Essence Communications and Cox Communications all will have representatives and giveaways on site. Cox Communications will also host product demonstrations and distribute drawstring backpacks, 32-oz. stadium cups, word puzzle magnets and koozies for participants.
