Cox Communications and Prevent Child
Abuse (PCA) Louisiana hosted a Louisiana Teen Summit on
Internet Safety & Grassroots Advocacy on May 2nd at the
Holiday Inn Select in Baton Rouge. The Summit was a
gathering of more than 100 students from around the state who are interested
in keeping themselves and their peers safe online, and who wanted
to learn how to be effective advocates.

Town Hall Meeting

On Wednesday, May 23,
Cox partnered with Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana to
present an Internet Safety Town Hall meeting at the
LITE center, located at 537 Cajundome Blvd,
Lafayette, Louisiana. Clayton Rives, Director of the
Louisiana Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against
Children (ICAC) Task Force, conducted a riveting
Internet Safety presentation.
