Philanthropic
Guidelines
Cox Communications
supports a variety of activities in the communities where we do
business. Our philanthropic and community relations mission is to
insure that we maintain our leadership position as a valued,
responsible corporate citizen by enhancing the quality of life in
our communities consistent with our business goals and objectives.
Contributions are only made to organizations with verifiable IRS

Cox’s Focus Areas
Education: Realizing the importance of education, we are
consistently a leader among contributors to education, both in
terms of financial support and the quality of the programs
receiving support.
Civic and Community: We support organizations that
strengthen community awareness and improvement and help to build
an environment conducive to a healthy business climate.
Arts and Culture: We provide support to organizations
that promote appreciation of the arts, recognition of diverse
cultures and awareness of arts in education programs.
Diversity:
Recognizing the value of diversity in its work force, community,
and customers, we support organizations that promote the
interests of minorities and women, as well as other diversity
dimensions.
