What do I need to do?
To self install you must be able to complete these tasks in order to qualify:
- Have an active cable outlet in the room you’d like to install Cox High Speed Internet
- Have a Cox Compatible Cable Modem. Modems are available for purchase from Cox ($79.95)
- Customer computer must meet minimum requirements
- Install coaxial cable from active outlet to cable modem
- Have an installed Ethernet port or have an available USB port
- Follow prompts to install the Cox High Speed Internet software from the CD-ROM
You
must live in an area that is Cox High Speed Internet serviceable, and
you must have an active cable outlet in a room where your computer will
be located.
