Cox High Speed Internet Self Install includes all the necessary components for installing Cox High Speed Internet service:

• 2-way splitter
• 25 - foot coaxial cable with barrel connector
• 3 - 4-foot coaxial cable
• Cable modem with cables, power supply and manual. (cable modem sold separately)
• Welcome Kit

Installation of Cox High Speed Internet is easy. Our experts can professionally install your service or you can self install using the Cox Fast Connect Kit. Whatever you choose, you will start enjoying incredibly fast, easy Internet access right away.

There is no charge for Self Installation, although connecting of service at the pole or pedestal may require a $10 charge.

If you choose the Professional Install option (up to $29.95), the technician will install the cable modem and software on your PC. An adult must be present during this installation, as there are license agreements, an Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service information that must be explained.

A Cox technician will:

• Install coaxial cable to the computer’s location
• Connect the cable modem to the coaxial cable
• Synchronize the cable modem
• Install an ethernet card (if needed)
• Configure the USB connection (if needed)
• Install & configure computer network settings
• Install and configure software
• Answer questions about service (Internet browsing, e-mail)

You will need to:

• Someone 18 years or older be available when technician arrives
• Have your operating system software available
