WHAT IS A CABLECARD?
Cox Digital CableCARD Service enables consumers to receive digital programming, including high-definition (HD) programs, without a set-top box.
It also permits new devices, such as digital VCR recorders, to connect easily to the new Digital Cable Ready TVs.
HOW DO YOU GET IT?
A CableCARD, which is provided by Cox, is inserted into the CableCARD slot on a Digital Cable Ready device.
Call Cox Customer Service to lease a CableCARD directly from Cox Communications for a low
monthly fee.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?
limitations of the CableCARD
Unfortunately, current technology cannot support two-way interactivity. This means some services, such as Pay-Per-View, the interactive
guide, parental controls and EOD are not available with the CableCARD.
If you would like to receive two-way services, you MUST use a digital set-top box provided by Cox Digital Cable.
