Welcome to The Circle. Now, when your friends join Cox, you get credit on your bill.

Thank you for your interest in The Circle Referral Program from Cox. We want you to get credit for each one of your friends who signs up for Cox service, but as with anything, there are a few rules.

To qualify for the referral reward:

  • The new customer you refer must reside in a Cox wired serviceable location that is offering the program.
  • The friend you refer must provide your referral information at the time of their order or no earlier than 24 hours prior to placing their order online.
  • No credits will be granted for referrals of accounts to past Cox customers, for persons that are currently Cox Customers, or for any referrals not submitted to Cox using an official Circle Referral program method (either printed coupon or online entry of the referral information).
  • No credits beyond 10 referred customers can be received in a one year period.
  • Existing referral credits may make you ineligible for additional promotions during the credit period.
  • Credit excludes charges for feature charges, charges for other Cox services that are not specified as being applicable for credit in the referral program, and applicable taxes and franchise fees. Referral credits are non-transferable, and have no cash value. If your Cox service is terminated for any reason, unused credits may not be redeemed for cash, credit or discounts on other Cox services. Offer subject to change or discontinuation without notice. Other restrictions apply.
  • Employees of Cox Communications, and its respective affiliates, and the immediate family members of all such employees and all others with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to receive any credits, discounts or other promotional offers under this program for referring a customer to the Cox services, for being referred as a customer, or otherwise.
  • Property owners, managers, leasing/rental agents, and landlords, or their respective agents, employees or contractors, of apartments, townhouses, condominiums or other types of multiple dwelling units are not eligible to receive any credits, discounts or other promotional offers under this program for referring a customer who rents, purchases or otherwise obtains a unit owned, managed, leased and/or maintained by such person.

Official rules specific to Cox Digital Cable:

  1. Cox customers may receive the reward indicated on The Circle's Referral page for each referral that results in the successful installation of a new Cox Cable customer when the referral is presented at the time of order by the new customer.
  2. Referrals are only valid for friends who receive the Cox Digital Cable service, referrals to any other cable company offering digital cable service are not valid.
  3. Referrals must be submitted to Cox communications using The Circle printed card or The Circle email message. Any other referral (verbal, unofficial document) will not be considered valid for this promotion.
  4. Referrals must include the name, address, phone number and email address of the referring Cox Digital Cable customer and be presented to Cox at time of order by the new customer or no more than 24 hours prior to their order.
  5. An online order must be placed within 24 hours of the referral form submission or the referral is no longer recognized. The referral may be re-entered by the person placing the order if they extend beyond the 24 hour period before completing the order.
  6. Installation of a new Cox Digital Cable customer must occur within thirty (30) days of the placed order. After thirty (30) days, the referral is no longer valid for this promotion.
  7. Referrals will be credited on the Cox Digital Cable customer's monthly bill two or more billing cycles following the installation of a new Cox Digital Cable customer.
  8. The referral reward may not be combined with any other promotional offer which rewards the Cox Digital Cable customer for referring a friend.
  9. The offer is not valid if the current customer cancels service before the new customer is installed.
  10. The offer is not valid if the new customer should cancel service prior to install.
  11. This offer may not be applied to previous Cox Digital Cable service requests.
  12. The incentive will be paid for each individual referred that signs up for Cox Digital Cable service.
  13. Primary outlet only.

Official Rules specific to Cox Digital Telephone:

Cox customers may receive the reward indicated on The Circle's Referral page for each Friend (herein after "new customer") that subscribes to and has installed Cox Digital Telephone on their residential line.

  1. The new customer must reside in a Cox wired, serviceable residential location. This offer is not available if the new customer has already subscribed to Cox Digital Telephone service or if another Cox Customer has received credit for the new customer's referral.
  2. To qualify for the offer, The Circle Referral Card or Email must be submitted by the new customer at the time or within 24 hours of the time that the order is placed.
  3. The referral information must be submitted: (1) to the Cox representative taking the order or (2) via the online form described on The Circle's Join page . The referral must include (i) the referring Cox Customer's first and last name, home address, city, state and zip code, contact phone and email address, and (ii) the new customer's first and last name. The offer is not valid if a referral is not submitted, is incomplete, or is otherwise deemed invalid by Cox.
  4. Installation must be completed with (30) days of the order for the referral to be valid.
  5. Credit(s) will appear on the Cox Customer's monthly Cox bill two or more billing cycles following the installation of the new customer's Cox Digital Telephone service and the submission of a valid Circle Referral.
  6. The referral reward may not be combined with any other referral promotional program.
  7. This offer and any unused credits will become invalid if the Cox Customer cancels Cox Digital Telephone service at the current address before a new customer's Cox Digital Telephone service is installed.
  8. Valid only in participating Cox markets. Offer is subject to change or may be discontinued at any time without notice.
