SIP Trunking Service

The next-generation IP communications option

With the latest advancements in Voice over IP technology, your business has real alternatives to traditional trunk service. Cox Business SIP Trunking offers a tailored, cost-effective voice service with scalable features and end-user mobility options that increases productivity and integrates well with your existing communications network.

How your business can benefit . . .
  • Lower costs – real savings. Unlike a standard switched PRI, there’s no need to install a gateway between your IP PBX and the network because the SIP Trunking service is delivered via a standard Ethernet connection, which saves your company money. Plus, you only buy the trunk capacity you need to effectively run your business.

  • Best-in-class service. SIP Trunking service is supported 24/7 by our proactively monitored, self-healing network, which assures you unsurpassed reliability and dependable business communications.

  • Never miss a call. When phone service is disrupted at your business for any reason, incoming calls are routed to another trunk group, different phone number, or alternate location so you can continue to communicate with your customers.

  • Avoid busy signals. As an option, you can automatically expand capacity when call volume spikes so customers and prospects can always get through to your business.

  • Virtual convenience. When your employees are working remotely, they’ll have the appearance of working from the office. And, they’ll manage their phone features online by logging in to the Cox Business MyAccount customer portal on any computer with Internet access. If you don’t already have a MyAccount profile, you can get started now with a few simple steps.

  • Local customer support. With Cox Business SIP Trunking service, you'll enjoy the added benefit of a local and experienced customer-focused team, dedicated to supporting your business 24/7.
