Cox receives 2007 PC Magazine Readers’ Choice award!

Cox Communications has received its fourth PC Magazine Readers’ Choice award for its Cox High Speed Internet service. The award is based on an online survey that asked readers to rate their Internet service provider in 10 categories, including speed, reliability, customer service and technical support.

Participants evaluated their Internet service provider on a 1-10 scale of poor to excellent. Highlights include:

• Customers rated Cox overall at 7.9, significantly above the cable industry average of 7.5 and DSL’s average of 7.2.

• Customers rated Cox’s speeds at 8.1 on the ten-point scale, with the cable industry average at 7.7, and DSL far below at 6.9.

• Cox customers say they’re more likely to recommend its service, giving Cox a score of 7.9, compared to 7.5 for cable and 7.2 for DSL providers.
