What services are covered by the Service Assurance PlanSM
from Cox?

All telephone and cable wiring inside your home that runs from the demarcation point to the back of any TV, converter, modem or telephone jack. Additionally all coaxial wiring (Cable TV wire) installed by Cox is also covered. Other exceptions are outlined in the terms and conditions of the Service Assurance Plan from Cox Agreement.

What does the Service Assurance Plan from Cox not cover?
Any equipment or devices that you own, such as telephones, TV sets, computers, fax machines, telephone answering machines, modems, home entertainment systems, stereo equipment, video game systems and any of the wires that connect these devices together or to the wall outlet are not covered.

Are there any extra, hidden charges in addition to the monthly rate?
No, except for taxes, there are no other charges, as long as you are a customer of Cox Communications, Inc. and current with your payment. Cox does however reserve the right to change this rate from time-to-time by providing at least thirty days written notice to customers.

How do I sign-up for the Service Assurance Plan from Cox?
Just call our customer care representatives at your local Cox office or sign up now with the online order form.

If I am having a problem with my phone wire, how do I schedule an appointment to get it fixed?
Just call our friendly repair operators 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most of our repair calls are completed within 24 hours of your call.

Do I still need to pay the phone company a monthly fee for their wire maintenance plan?
Absolutely not, provided that you have properly terminated your agreement for a wire maintenance plan service with your phone company and your phone company is not Cox.

What if your technician discovers that my problem isn’t caused by the inside wiring, will you then charge me for the appointment?
If the problem is not in the inside wiring, our repair technician will attempt to identify the source of the problem and give you the problem solving advice all at no charge other than the monthly rate.
