In order to meet subscriber demands for more
robust video and competitive voice service offerings in the Sierra Vista
community, Cox is upgrading its cable system to a completely digital format.
This upgrade will allow Cox to offer more
advanced services, including phone services, high-definition channels and On
DEMAND service, to our customers in Sierra Vista.
Because of the system upgrade, Cox Sierra
Vista customers may need to take steps to ensure they continue receiving
Cox’s cable programming.
Cox’s system upgrade has nothing to do with
the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) Digital Transition scheduled to
be completed by June 12, 2009.
