Michael Dunne
Director of Media Relations - Southern Arizona
Michael Dunne is the director of media relations for Southern Arizona. Michael brings to the position more than 15 years of media and public relations expertise.
Previously, Dunne spent seven years as the regional media relations manager and spokesperson for Qwest Communications in Colorado. There, Dunne developed and implemented the company’s public relations activities for its headquarters state and also provided strategic public relations counsel in Arizona and Wyoming. Dunne’s previous experience includes media relations management at a prominent public relations firm in Seattle, and community relations consulting for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) District in San Francisco.
Dunne received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis. He obtained firsthand experience in the news media working on the news desk at KGO-TV in San Francisco.
