Kevin Moran
Vice President of Human Resources, Cox Arizona
Kevin Moran was named vice president of human resources for Cox Communications, Inc. Arizona, in October 2005. He directs Cox Arizona’s policies and programs for recruitment and staffing, employee relations, organizational and people development, employee communications, and employee benefits and services.
Moran joined Cox Communications, Inc. in May 2001 as director of public affairs. As director he was responsible for developing and implementing Cox Arizona’s federal, state and local government advocacy strategies.
Prior to joining Cox, Moran served as vice president/principal for Landry, Moran & Creedon, Inc., where he developed and implemented comprehensive business and public affairs strategies for corporations, local governments and trade associations. Kevin also worked as an attorney for Teilborg, Sanders & Parks, where he practiced in product liability, insurance defense and commercial litigation areas.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Brown University, a law degree from Arizona State University College of Law and is a May, 2006 MBA graduate from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Kevin was a founding member of the Arizona Business & Education Coalition Board of Directors. He has also been active in the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Tax Research Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Valley of the Sun United Way.
Kevin went to high school in Phoenix and he's married to Susan Moran and has two sons.
