Janet West is vice president of sales at Cox Arizona. In her role, Janet oversees residential sales of Cox's telecommunications products and services in the Valley and will manage 380 sales employees.
Janet came to Cox Arizona in 2007 from EarthLink Networks in Dallas, Texas where she spent the seven prior years in various vice presidential roles in sales and marketing. Janet has a proven track record of building sales and marketing organizations from the ground up into organizations that consistently exceed metrics. She has a total of 17 years experience in sales and marketing in telecommunications, wireless, video and data.
Janet spearheaded the launch of the first major municipal Wi-Fi network in the city of Philadelphia and four smaller markets. She was also a member of the charter organization that launched MCI Telecommunication as a local phone service provider.
Janet is member of the national advisory counsel for the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and Women in Technology International.
Janet is a native of Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration. She has two daughters ages 7 and 16.
