Howard Tigerman
Vice President of Business Operations, Cox Arizona
Howard Tigerman is vice president of business operations for Cox Communications, Inc. Arizona. Tigerman is responsible for accounting, collections, financial planning and analysis, collections, supply chain and fixed asset management, assets preservation and related activities supporting the Phoenix operation.
From 1997 to early 2001, Tigerman served as vice president of accounting and financial planning in Cox’s Atlanta headquarters, where he was responsible for accounts payable, financial systems, general ledger, tax, budgeting and forecasting, internal reporting and analysis, program cost accounting and payroll. He also served as controller during his tenure with Cox in Atlanta.
Joining the cable industry in 1983, Tigerman once served as manager of financial planning for Times Mirror Cable Television in Irvine, Calif. and held several executive positions with the company before Cox acquired it in 1995. Prior to joining Times Mirror, he was director of operations for Far West Services also in Irvine, Calif.
Tigerman holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Colorado College.
