Fran Mallace
Vice President of Cox Media, Cox Arizona

Mallace has been with Cox Media since 1992 in the capacities of national sales manager, local sales manager, general sales manager and director of sales, news and sports. She currently holds the position of vice president and general manager.

Mallace has received many awards during her career including the 2002 Cox Vision Award for Commitment to Employees for the development of "fast track" – a national sales training program that she was instrumental in creating. She has earned eight Cable Advertising Bureau awards, a Cox Media National Leadership Award, the Phoenix Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television’s award for best sales manager and the prestigious President’s Award in 2006 by the Cable Advertising Bureau..

Mallace began her advertising career as co-op advertising manager for National Brands. Her background includes leadership roles with Boyd & Farmer Advertising, Softsel Pollick & Associates and KUTP TV 45.

She serves on the boards of Cox Charities, Chrysalis Shelter, the Scottsdale Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication. Mallace holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Management and English from Arizona State University and a master's of business degree from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
