PHOENIX Cox Business will connect Barrett-Jackson to the world January 11-18 when the celebrated annual car collector event comes to Scottsdale. As the exclusive provider of telecommunications services, Cox will provide more than 100 phone land lines and high speed Internet service for Barrett-Jackson operations.

The contract between Cox Business is valued in excess of $500,000. This year, Cox will provide a High Speed Internet Zone within the Lifestyle Pavilion where remote bidders can bid on cars while consignors and spectators can freely check their e-mail and browse the Internet.

Cox Business will provide the backbone for Internet service for the Barrett-Jackson Web site, which during the month of January will receive more than 250 million hits making it one of the top visited Web sites in the world according to Alexa.com.
